Cobalt-57 flood sources

Cobalt-57 flood sources are extended sources designed for gamma cameras with rectangular fields of view. They consist of a rigid casing containing a resin in which the radionuclide is uniformly distributed.
    • Check the nominal settings of your gamma cameras with rectangular fields of view
    • Verify the uniformity of the system response across the entire active area
    • Facilitate source handling during your quality control operations
    • Limit hand dose during handling
    • Benefit from an extended cobalt-57 source designed for gamma cameras with rectangular fields of view
    • Use a flood source consisting of a rigid casing containing a resin in which the radionuclide is uniformly distributed
    • Choose from three activity levels: 370 MBq, 550 MBq or 740 MBq
    • Use the supplied lead-lined aluminium case to return the source at the end of its service life
